FIAN Zambia submitted a recommendation to the Ministry of Agriculture to support the right to food through Agroecology; and include Sorghum and millet in the Farmer Input Support Programme; The Government has assured that the 2023-2024 FISP/CASP package will have a lot of Sorghum and FISP. A steering committee has been created to spearhead the National Agroecology Strategy for Zambia and FIAN Zambia is a member of the steering committee composed of Government agencies and Civil Society.
