Live radio program on “The Hot Seat” program at Hot FM Zambia

On March 26, 2024, FIAN Zambia featured on the popular live radio programme “The Hot Seat” on Hot FM Zambia to shed light on the rising hunger levels in Zambia in the context of the ongoing climate crisis. This media engagement followed FIAN Zambia’s documentation of human rights violations related to the right to food in Nyimba District, Eastern Province.

The one-hour discussion was broadcast live on Hot FM Radio and streamed on Hot FM Zambia’s Facebook Page, reaching a combined audience of over 2,400 people. The program aimed to raise public awareness and stimulate dialogue around the urgent need for rights-based responses to hunger, especially in drought-affected communities
