ADVOCACY ON THE INCLUSION OF ESCR IN THE ZAMBIAN CONSTITUTION

FIAN Zambia engaged the National Assembly through the select committee on Human Rights, Governance, and Legal Affairs to advocate for constitutional reforms to include Economic Social, and Cultural Rights.  National Assembly committed to support FIAN’s proposal on the inclusion of ESCR in Zambia’s constitution and invited FIAN Zambia to make further presentations to a larger gathering of parliamentarians.
