ABOUT FIAN

FIAN International is an International Human Rights Organization that has advocated for the realization of the right to food and nutrition for 30 years. FIAN international Zambia is a National section of FIAN International.


FIAN Zambia, established in 2018, is dedicated to advocating for the right to food and nutrition. The organization exposes and confronts violations of people’s rights to food and related rights wherever they occur, challenging unjust and oppressive practices that hinder individuals from feeding themselves. FIAN envisions a world free from hunger, where every person, regardless of gender or age, can fully enjoy their human rights with dignity, especially the right to adequate food.
